3D Design

Worked on the 3D tooling for a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle diecast vehicle, balancing iconic form accuracy with manufacturability for mass production. Generated multiple casting iterations, including multiple bumper styles, open/closed ragtop, roof rack, exhaust & antenna versions to be movie specific for Herbie the love bug. The chassis also features multiple ride heights which allow it to ride at stock height, “slammed” (lowered), and also a “Cal-Look” style rake with the larger tire in the rear and small tires in front.

Additionally, Keyshot, Photoshop, and Illustrator were used to create artwork renders for presentation, approvals, and marketing alignment.
